This high-protein, low-calorie Protein Dunkaroo Dip is the ultimate nostalgic snack made healthy. Using just 5 simple ingredients, it packs over 25 grams of protein per serving and tastes just like the classic birthday cake frosting we all loved as kids.

Ingredients

1 cup non-fat plain greek yogurt

1/2 tsp vanilla extract

1/2 cup vanilla whey protein powder

1/2 Tbsp maple syrup, optional

2 Tbsp rainbow sprinkles

Instructions

In a small bowl, mix together the Greek yogurt and vanilla extract until well combined.

Gradually add the vanilla protein powder. Stir vigorously using a spoon or small whisk until the mixture is completely smooth and no clumps remain.

Taste the dip. If you prefer a sweeter flavor, stir in the optional maple syrup.

Gently fold in the rainbow sprinkles so the colors don’t bleed too much.

Top with a few extra sprinkles for aesthetics and serve immediately with your favorite dippers.

• Use a high-quality whey or whey-casein blend for the best “frosting” texture.

• If the mixture is too thick, add a teaspoon of almond milk to thin it out.
