This ultra-creamy Valentine’s Day Dessert Dip is the ultimate last-minute treat. Using just five simple ingredients, it comes together in minutes and features a festive pink hue thanks to a clever sprinkle-mixing technique. Perfect for classroom parties, Galentine’s brunch, or a romantic night in.
8 oz cream cheese – room temperature
1 cup mini chocolate chips
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 cup Valentine sprinkles and/or M&Ms
In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, mini chocolate chips, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract.
Using a hand mixer or a sturdy spatula, mix until the ingredients are completely smooth and well-incorporated.
Add half of the Valentine sprinkles to the mixture. Stir gently; you will notice the color from the sprinkles starts to bleed, turning the dip a lovely shade of pink.
Transfer the mixture into a serving bowl and place it in the center of a platter.
Garnish the top of the dip with the remaining sprinkles and M&Ms.
Arrange your favorite dippers, such as strawberries, pretzels, or vanilla wafers, around the bowl and serve immediately.
• Ensure the cream cheese is fully at room temperature to avoid lumps in your dip.
• For a deeper pink color, let the dip sit for 10 minutes after mixing in the first batch of sprinkles.
• Use mini chocolate chips rather than standard-sized ones for the best texture and ‘dip-ability’.
