A creamy, savory cheese ball packed with bacon, ranch, and cheddar, perfect for parties and easy to make ahead.

Ingredients

  • 1 package (5 ounces) Oscar Meyer precooked bacon pieces divided
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley leaves divided
  • 2 packages (8 ounces, each) cream cheese softened
  • 1/2 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 package (1 ounce) Ranch Seasoning/Dressing mix
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, combine half of the bacon pieces.
  2. Add all the pecans to the bowl.
  3. Add 2 tablespoons of parsley to the bowl.
  4. Stir the bacon, pecans, and parsley together; set this mixture aside.
  5. In the bowl of an electric mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, add the softened cream cheese.
  6. Add the minced garlic.
  7. Add the shredded sharp cheddar cheese.
  8. Add the Ranch seasoning mix.
  9. Add the Worcestershire sauce.
  10. Add the remaining bacon pieces to the mixer bowl.
  11. Add the remaining parsley to the mixer bowl.
  12. Beat all ingredients on medium-high speed until well combined.
  13. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap.
  14. Place the covered bowl in the refrigerator.
  15. Chill for at least 2 hours or overnight.
  16. Remove the chilled mixture from the refrigerator.
  17. Shape the chilled mixture into a ball.
  18. Roll the cheese ball in the prepared bacon-pecan mixture until fully coated.
  19. Serve immediately with crackers and veggies.

Notes

Ensure cream cheese is fully softened for a smooth mixture.
Chill the cheese ball for at least 2 hours to firm it up for shaping.
For best flavor, shred your own block of sharp cheddar cheese.
Roll the cheese ball in the coating just before serving for optimal texture.
