Creamy, smooth, and utterly delicious, these blended overnight oats are the perfect make-ahead breakfast for busy mornings.

Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 cups rolled oats certified gluten-free if needed
  • 1/4 cup chia seeds
  • 2 Tablespoons maple syrup or honey
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 1/2 cups unsweetened almond milk
  • 3 scoops vanilla protein powder optional but recommended

Instructions

  1. Gather all your ingredients for the blended overnight oats.
  2. Add the rolled oats to a high-speed blender.
  3. Add the chia seeds to the blender.
  4. Add the maple syrup or honey to the blender.
  5. Add the vanilla extract to the blender.
  6. Add the ground cinnamon to the blender.
  7. Add the salt to the blender.
  8. Pour the unsweetened almond milk into the blender.
  9. Add the vanilla protein powder to the blender if using.
  10. Secure the lid on the blender.
  11. Blend all ingredients until the mixture is completely smooth and uniform.
  12. Carefully pour the blended oats mixture into 4 individual mason jars or airtight containers.
  13. Place the jars in the refrigerator.
  14. Chill the blended oats for at least 4 hours, or ideally overnight, to allow them to thicken.
  15. Serve the chilled blended oats with your favorite toppings, such as fresh berries, sliced bananas, nuts, or a dollop of nut butter.
