Sweet, salty, and incredibly easy to make, these no-bake Marshmallow Pretzel Treats are a crowd-pleasing dessert perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups crushed pretzels
  • 2 T butter
  • 5 oz marshmallows
  • 3/4 cup Mini M&Ms divided

Instructions

  1. Lightly grease an 8×8 square baking pan.
  2. Set the greased pan aside.
  3. Place pretzels into a plastic bag.
  4. Use a rolling pin or glass to crush pretzels into smaller pieces.
  5. Add butter and marshmallows to a microwave-safe bowl.
  6. Microwave for 2 minutes, or until marshmallows are fluffy and double in size.
  7. Stir the mixture until the butter is completely melted.
  8. Pour the crushed pretzels into the bowl with the marshmallow mixture.
  9. Add 1/2 cup of Mini M&Ms to the bowl.
  10. Stir well to coat all the pretzel mixture.
  11. Spoon the mixture into the prepared 8×8 pan.
  12. Lightly grease your fingers.
  13. Press the mixture firmly and evenly into the pan with your greased fingers.
  14. Top the mixture with the additional 1/4 cup of Mini M&Ms.
  15. Let the treats set for about 30 minutes at room temperature.
  16. Cut the treats into bars using a sharp knife.

Notes

For easier cleanup, line your pan with parchment paper before greasing.
Ensure marshmallows are fully melted and smooth before adding pretzels.
Press the mixture firmly into the pan to ensure the bars hold together well.
Use a sharp knife and clean it between cuts for neat bars.
