Ingredients

Scale
  • 24 Oreo cookies – approx. 260 g
  • 70 g (⅓ cup) Cream cheese – softened
  • White and semi-sweet chocolate

Instructions

  1. Finely crush the Oreo cookies in a food processor until you get a fine crumb with no large pieces.
  2. Add the softened cream cheese to the crushed Oreos.
  3. Mix with a spoon until the mixture is smooth and holds together completely.
  4. Shape the mixture into 20 cake pops, each about 20 grams.
  5. Chill the Oreo balls in the refrigerator for about 20 minutes.
  6. Melt the white chocolate in a double boiler or microwave until smooth.
  7. Transfer the melted white chocolate to a deep bowl.
  8. Dip the end of a lollipop stick into the melted white chocolate.
  9. Insert the chocolate-dipped end of the stick into the center of each chilled Oreo ball.
  10. Dip each cake pop into the melted white chocolate, ensuring it's fully coated.
  11. Gently tap off any excess chocolate.
  12. Place the dipped cake pops on a cake pop stand or a piece of styrofoam.
  13. Allow the white chocolate coating to set completely.
  14. Melt the semi-sweet chocolate in a double boiler or microwave until smooth.
  15. Transfer the melted semi-sweet chocolate to a piping bag.
  16. Decorate the set cake pops with melted dark chocolate using the piping bag.
  17. Chill the decorated cake pops before serving.

Notes

Ensure cream cheese is softened for easy mixing.
Don’t skip chilling the balls; it helps them stay on the stick.
Use a deep, narrow bowl for easier dipping.
Work quickly when dipping so chocolate doesn’t set too soon.
